Code d' Odalisque makes explicit provision for proper accommodation for the female cockslave. Ordinary slaves (memlooks) have no such rights, but an odalisque is a very special creature and is deserving of special treatment. This includes the right to her own room – formally called an “odella”.
The odella need not be very spacious or luxurious in itself, but it is nevertheless the slave's right. It is her space, her refuge, and a place where she can expect comfort, recreation and privacy. It should be heated appropriately, with good ventilation and meet other civilized standards. An odalisque is not a dog. She should not be kept like one. An odella is not a kennel. It should be clean and comfortable, above all.
It should be equipped with a decent bed, pillows, linen and other appropriate furnishings – perhaps a desk, perhaps a TV or DVD player, perhaps a computer, etc. It should not be cold, bleak and spartan. Slavekeepers should put some thought into what provisions should be made. Ideally, there should be ready access to a bathroom, mirrors etc. that an odalisque requires if she is to keep herself as an object of beauty and desire for her Master.
Importantly, an odella is her space. It is not a sexual arena as such. It is a place to which she can retire after sexual service. The sexual arena in Code d' Odalisque is called the “saray”, that is, the Slavekeeper's playroom. The Code makes a clear distinction. The slave has her odella. The Keeper has his saray. See the Code for further details.
