Creating Networks

Question: Can you connect me with people in my area who are into Code d’ Odalisque?

Answer: Probably not. The formal Code has been around for about ten years but it is only in the last few years that it has been propagated through the World Wide Web. There are now some places in the world where there is a local “scene” but otherwise followers of the Code are scattered.

There is certainly a growing community world-wide. By any estimation hundreds of couples enjoy this lifestyle –and many more if we include casual players. But the chances that there is an active scene of Coders living a developed Master/odalisque lifestyle near where you live are at present remote.

So this means you will have to create your own fun. Why not start a local scene? Local people probably haven’t encountered Code d’ Odalisque yet. But you can be sure that it will be attractive to some local people – female submissives, dominant males, etc. Why not promote it locally? Join local networks and look for people who share your interest in this style of slave play.

If you are enterprising and persistent it would probably only take you twelve months to gather a small circle of local people. Open it up to anyone who is curious. Stir up some interest. Remember, lots of couples already play their own bedroom slave games. They'll be interested.

We think that there is a great potential for Code d’ Odalisque. There are many people who are looking for this sort of thing as an alternative to the mainstream BDSM flavors. The Code and all the supplementary information is free and available on-line. Why not learn about it and get something happening in your local networks? Start a club. Start a yahoo group. Create a web site. Start a blog. Promote the Code through your local networks any way you can.

Of course, if you are successful in this you will then find yourself at the hub of an expanding circle of adults – men and women – who are all devoted to sexual slave games. An enviable position to be in. That can only be fun!

In short, as they say, take the mountain to Mohammed. If there is no local interest in Code d’ O then create it. Be confident that there are people like you who will think that Code d’ O is a damn good idea. People will get on board, but it takes creative and energetic people at a local level to get networks of players started.
