How vanilla is it?

Question: How vanilla is Code d' Odalisque?

Answer: As vanilla as you like, or as bent as you like. The concern of the Code at all points to that the odalisque should be treated as an odalisque. Not as a beast of burden. Not as a maid. Not as a whipping bag. Not as a slut. Not as a whore. So as long as she is treated with the respect due to an odalisque - a very precious creature - she can be used for whatever erotic purposes her Master proposes. Her very purpose is to be a fantasy slave. A man uses an odalisque to explore his sexuality. This can involve exploration of extremes - subject to the contractual limits set by the slave.

By default, Code d' Ode is not sado-masochistic. An odalisque is a pleasure slave and the mode of play is hedonistic. But just because the dimension of pain is excluded from play does not mean Code d' Ode need be tame and vanilla. An odalisque can be used to explore the extremes of pleasure. Methods other than pain are used. Within the limits of play there is huge scope for imaginative and creative sexuality. There is an emphasis on psychological methods of control.

The Code specifically forbids such things as bestiality and pedophilia - that doesn't make it vanilla. How hardcore you play, how far you go, and what kinks you pursue is entirely up to you. As long as the basic framework of the Code - and the principles of safety, consent and legality - are maintained, and the slave is respected as an odalisque. It can be as gentle and lightweight or as full-on and hardcore as you want to make it. It is up to you.

Code d' Odalisque is offered free and is promoted in the public domain. People are free to take what they want from it and are always free to adapt it to their needs. You are always free to adapt it to include your particular kink.

It will also appeal to so-called "vanilla" people because of its ambience of respect and chivalry, and its emphasis on consent, safety and legality. It is a good option for people whose tastes are pretty straight. (And why not. There's nothing wrong with good old-fashioned straight sex, is there?)
