Wine

10.6. - A cockslave shall serve wine

An odalisque shall serve wine to her Keeper and attend to his sensual pleasures.

Code d' Odalisque makes specific provisions for the enjoyment of "wine". The word "wine" however is used as a generic term and may mean other recreational beverages according to the tastes of the Slavekeeper. In some of the cultures from which the traditions and aesthetics of Code d' Ode have been drawn wine is a forbidden substance. The word therefore has a sense of risque, the forbidden. In practice, the "wine" enjoyed might be whiskey or vodka, or whatever - according to the tastes of the Keeper. Or indeed, a Slavekeeper may enjoy wine and have a taste for expensive wines.

The beverage that is traditionally associated with odalisque sensuality is ABSINTHE.

Moreover, "wine" need not just mean beverages but the category may include recreational substances (drugs) - with certain provisos. One proviso is that a Slavekeeper should not involve an odalisque in matters that are illegal, and most drugs are illegal in most places.

The traditional recreational drug associated with odalisque sensuality is HASHISH. This is illegal in most places, but not everywhere.

An odalisque should be trained to serve her Master his "wine" whatever that may be.

Code d' Odalisque is about the uninhibited pursuit of pleasure. The use of recreational drugs - usually alcohol - is going to be a natural part of this for many people. The Code does encourage style and civility, though. Elitist as it may seem, such urban commonplaces as slurping beer from cans and sucking pot from bongs would be out of place.
