Turnkey

Question: What is a Turnkey?

This is a technical term in Code d' Odalisque for a person who looks after safety and security where necessary in sexual slave play. For example, if an odalisque is to be placed in captivity - locked up - then her Master may ask someone else to act as "Turnkey" and give them a spare set of keys, just in case.

Some types of slave play can be risky. There can be accidents. Even light bondage can go wrong. Code d' Ode puts a strong emphasis upon safety. Safety is the business of the Turnkey.

Code d' Ode is non-violent, but players can still explore other more extreme types of activities. Orgies and gangbangs, for example. Sometimes it is necesary to have a man at the door in such events. Someone who deals with any troublemakers. That is the Turnkey. He is in charge of safety and security.

The well-being of the odalisque is always his first concern.

A Turnkey is a non-sexual player and is only needed in more elaborate or extreme types of play.
