Slavetraining - preliminary considerations

Before training begins a Slavetrainer should do his homework. He needs to know as much as he can about his new trainee. He should spend some time conversing with her and getting to know her. In particular, he needs to be able to make an assessment of her APTITUDE for the odalisque lifestyle. What are her strengths? What makes her suitable? What assets does she bring to the job? For instance, a Trainer might note that his new slave-in-training has the following attributes:

*She is meek and obedient by nature
*She has a natural love of cock
*She is a loner and likes being alone
*She has a strong service ethic and likes to serve others.

These are all qualities needed in an odalisque. These are the things that a Trainer can work with. Training should build upon the qualities of the slave. Before training begins the Slavetrainer should establish a good knowledge of the slave's merits. He needs to know his raw material.

There are many ways this can be done. A formal method would be to conduct a series of one-on-one interviews with the woman prior to the beginning of training. And information can be collected from her Master and others who know her. Additionally, it is proper for a Slavetrainer to sample a slave sexually before or in the early stages of training, once again in order to make an assessment of her virtues and assets.

The purpose of slavetraining under Code d’ Odalisque is to bring a woman who already has aptitude for the odalisque lifestyle to become an odalisque in fact and therefore to find fulfilment in that role. It is NOT the purpose of training to make a woman into something she is not. Training should always be in accord with the nature of the slave. Never try to make a slavewoman into something she is not. Always try to develop skills and aptitudes that are pre-existing. Don’t try to fit a square peg into a round hole. A wise slavetrainer works from the material he is given

Your first task as a slavetrainer is to have a realistic and accurate understanding of your slave. Do not expect her to become something she is not. Do not require her to do things which are contrary to her nature. A slavetrainer should know the strengths and weaknesses of a slave before he starts training her. A slave should be trained according to, rather than contrary to, her nature.

Understand your slave’s limitations, strengths and weaknesses, and allow for them at every step of her training.

For example:

Some people feel the cold more acutely than others. It may happen that your slave gets cold easily. If so, then you should allow her to wear extra clothing in cold weather and/or keep her rooms heated hotter than usual. Take account of her temperament and make adjustments for her. It would be counter-productive to insist that she stay naked. Yes, ideally slaves remain naked, but if your slave feels the cold and her toes start going blue, then make allowances for her.

Know your materials. Know their weaknesses and their strengths. Don't try to bend them in ways they just weren't made to bend.
