Many modern consensual Master/slave relationships are intensely personal encounters between male Dom and fem sub. This has a strongly romantic appeal. The Master/slave bond is of infinite depth; it is love carried to its proper conclusion. Often, in this, the slave becomes absorbed in the dominant personality of her Master. Her slavery grows out of a surpassing love – she longs to serve the man she so admires. The Master, too, can become deeply possessive of his slave. Theirs is a bond of passion, an intense one-on-one interchange.
Odalisque slavery is different than this. The focus is different. The emphasis is different. In particular, the Slavekeeper is not subject to the slave’s reverence and she is not consumed in the aura of his personality. Her focus is not on the Slavekeeper. Her slavery does not grow out of reverence for the man. Instead, she is a cockslave – her focus is on cock. An odalisque wants to serve by being used sexually. She serves her Master’s cock. Her duty is to love, adore, revere and give pleasure to her Master’s cock. The Master/slave bond in Code d’ Ode is mutually sexual. There need not be passionate love, but there must be passionate sex. One of the mottos of Code d’ Odalisque is: Man is her Master. Cock is her god! She need not revere her Master. But she must serve him. And he will command her to devote herself to worshipping his cock. A man acquires an odalisque because he wants his cock worshipped and for no other reason.
The Master/slave bond under Code d’ Odalisque, then, is less intensely personal. It need not be a bondage of souls. Odalisque slavery is not romantic in that sense. Odalisque slavery is hedonistic and decadent. It is important to appreciate this. An odalisque’s first urge is to give her body, her sex, to a man and he may use her to pleasure his cock in phallic exploration. That is what makes her a cockslave. Only secondarily is she attached to the person and personality of her Master. She serves and respects him but her passion is for his cock. Cock is her god. Sex is her primary activity. Sucking and fucking is what she loves and how she longs to serve.
A consequence of this is that the Master/slave relationship in Code d’ Odalisque is, by default, social. A Slavekeeper will typically share his slave with guests. The intense one-on-one soul-mates ‘romantic’ slavery where the Master is like a god to his slave is alien to the social ethos of the Code. Master and slave should not normally be so attached to each other that their bond becomes a type of hyper-monogamy. Unless there are contractual and consensual barriers, an odalisque is to be shared. Again, Code d’ Ode is not ‘romantic’ - it is hedonistic and decadent. Man is her Master. Cock is her god. She serves her Master and obeys his commands, but it is cock she loves. Her Master’s cock. But – at his command – the cocks of other men as well. There is no exclusive fixation between Master and slave in odalisque slavery. Slaves are to be enjoyed and sharing is part of the enjoyment.
