Qoola

As a normal and regular part of play an odalisque may be made to engage in erotic dance and display for her Keeper.

Body Modifications
10.10. - Restrictions on body modification
An odalisque is forbidden from undertaking any significant form of body modification by plastic or cosmetic surgery or to elective medical proceedures - especially those that require a full anaesthenic - beyond what is required for good and lasting health, even where her Keeper is agreeable. It is an injunction of this Code that only a freewoman may make significant cosmetic modifications to her physical body. If a slave wishes to make such modifications she must return to the state of the freewoman in order to do so.
Medical technology now allows a wide range of ways in which the body can be modified. Nose jobs. Skin colorings. Hair transplants. Breast enlargements. Breast reductions. Liposuction. And much, much more. There is a revolution in cosmetic surgery. The only limit is your bank account.
This becomes a problematic matter in Master/slave relationships because consent is a minefield here. Captive Mentality - Slavetraining
15.6. - A captive mentality
The objectives and practice of training an odalisque shall include the cultivation of a captive mentality, the experience of confinement, bondage and restriction.
Training must cultivate a captive mentality in the slave. She is a captive, not a freewoman, a prisoner. Training should imbue a strong sense of this from the outset. An odalisque is a luxury slave and has many more privileges than other slaves (memlooks), but she is nevertheless a captive. Training practices will reinforce this sense in her. Not only is she isolated from other people, she is being held captive and lives the life of a sexual prisoner.
SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
As well as removing the slave to an isolated unfamiliar location, it is good practice to begin training by placing the slave in solitary confinement for periods of time. In this way she is completely cut off from the world and will become even further disoriented. We need to disturb her sense of time and space in a fundamental way. Solitary confinement is a good way to achieve this quickly.
For this purpose you need a small confined space that is warm, dry and totally dark. At the beginning of training you might place the slave in there for hours at a time. Some Trainers may even place a new slave in solitary confinement for days at a time. This is extreme, but it is certainly effective. It helps to draw a line between the slave's old life and her new life of service. It is sometimes useful as a first step to "strip the slave back".
In any case, an odalisque must be trained to be accustomed to isolation. By definition, an odalisque is kept apart from the world. During training - which prepares the slave for service - she is kept isolated for longer and longer periods to help her get used to being kept captive and alone.
Isolation is a very powerful tool for making your subject passive and impressionable. Solitary confinement is very effective for "softening up" a subject. Her whole psychology will change.
In other styles of BDSM training pain is used as a tool to get to the deeper layers of the slave's psychology. Pain is not used in Code d' Odalisque, but psychological techniques such as solitary confinement can be used instead provided all due care is taken for the slave's well-being.
A combination of isolation and manipulation of sleep is a very powerful foundation for slavetraining. With these two tools alone you can shape the slave. But be gentle. Because they are powerful tools they can also be dangerous. Solitary confinement can be dangerous to the mentally fragile, for example. A Trainer must always carefully monitor the effects of training upon the slave. Any techniques that induce unexpected side-effects in the slave should be immediately discontinued.
CAPTIVITY
You can underline the slave's sense of captivity by using cages and other restrictive devices. It is good practise to keep the slave caged for a period of time each day as part of her training. Teach her to become accustomed to restriction and restraint in this way. This is part of her on-going “discalcing.” An obvious difference between a freewoman and a slave is that a freewoman has free mobility, whereas a slave does not. Teach your slave this bedrock fact by keeping her caged or restrained during training. Captivity and restriction, along with isolation, are always key themes in odalisque slavery.
Throughout her training a slave should be placed in restriction - caged or bound or gagged or blindfolded, tied to a bed, strapped to a table. Slavetraining - preliminary considerations

The Slaveowner (when he arrives) is dressed casually, no eyemask.
The room is dimly lit. The approaches to the room are left unlit if possible. When she arrives the female must make her way to the room in the dark. The female (as freewoman) is well dressed, as if going to the theatre. Her hair is up. She wears high-heels, stockings, an evening dress, perfume, handbag, carefully prepared elegance.
SCENE ONE
The female knocks on the door. The guard at the door lets her in, saying nothing. The other two assistants escort her in and seat her at the table.

Slavetrader: These are the slave's terms and conditions of slavery. She may add to these a Plea for Mercy to be signed by you. You are bound to never violate the slave's Contract of Submission or to ever dishonour her Plea for Mercy. These are the conditions of Slavekeeping. Do you understand this?
Slaveowner: I understand.
Slavetrader: Slavekeepers are forbidden from placing their slavewomen into whoredom. Do you understand this?
Slaveowner: I understand.
Slavetrader: Now that you know the details of her Contract of Submission, do you still wish to purchase her?
Slaveowner: I do. What is her price?
The Slavetrader reveals her price.
Slavetrader: You may commmute the slaveprice to alms to the poor. As a Slavetrader I am duty bound to impress upon you the benefits of almsgiving. Do you understand the institution of almsgiving?
Slaveowner: I do. I will commute the slaveprice to alms.
Slavetrader: Do you swear to pay the whole amount of the alms in full in one transaction and not by installment, at your nearest possible convenience, and to not dishonour her by taking her free like a slut?
Slaveowner: I do swear.
Slavetrader: Then we agree to a sale. When she entered slavery the slave surrendered her shoes willingly. I have them here. By taking them you take responsibility for this slave.
Slaveowner: I am prepared to take responsibility for this slave.
He hands them to the slave's new owner.
The two men stand and shake hands.
Slavetrader: Would you like to anoint the slave and then take her into occlusion?
Slaveowner: I would yes.
The Slaveowner then anoints the slave with attar, i.e. perfuming her.
Slavetrader: She is yours. It is customary to drink on it.
One of the guards brings wine and two glasses and pours a small amount for each man.
Slavetrader (making a toast): I declare that the slave Victoria is the property of [Fred]. Peace to them
both.
Slaveowner: (accepting the toast) Peace!
They drink.
The Slavetrader leads the owner to the slave and removes her gag and blindfold.
Slavetrader: Slave. You have been purchased by [Fred] for the legitimate slaveprice. He is bound by your Contract of Submission. You may make a Plea for Mercy to him at any time. Acknowledge him as your Slavemaster.
Slave (turning her eyes to her new owner): Slavemaster.
At this point the ritual ends. The slave may be taken off into occlusion or the Keeper may share his new slave in an orgy with the Slavetrader and others.
