Suitable guests

Many people will prefer to conduct odalisque slavery on a monogamous basis. This is a simple Master/slave arrangement that is exclusive and forbids the involvement of other sexual parties.

Code d’ Odalisque is easily adapted to this arrangement, but it is not the default position. By default, a Slavemaster under Code d’ Odalisque will happily share his slave with other gentlemen (and ladies) – he shares her with guests. Code d’ Ode promotes sexual generosity. A man who is so privileged as to own an odalisque should share his good fortune, just as a wealthy man should share his wealth.

Some couples prefer an exclusive monogamy. Some slaves prefer not to be shared and want to devote themselves to one man alone. Some Masters prefer to keep their slaves to themselves. That is fine, but the natural inclination under Code d’ Odalisque is to share.

All the same, a Slavekeeper must be very discerning regarding who he might share his slave with. The careful and judicious selection of guests is essential. He has a duty of care to the slave, for a start. He must keep her away from unsuitable men. He must keep her safe. He must keep her away from violent men and men with diseases. More generally, it is always a great privilege to enjoy an odalisque. The privilege should not be given carelessly to slobs and fools. It should only be given to men of suitable character. Men who are amicable, courteous, cooperative, civil and clean. Men who will respect the status of the odalisque.

While the Code permits and encourages the sharing of odalisques with guests, it also places a grave responsibility upon the Slavekeeper to protect and keep safe his slave. He should not waste her on idiots, jerks, womenhaters or rednecks. Her beauty is preserved for deserving gentlemen, carefully selected by her Master. Where necessary, the Slavekeeper should instruct his guests on proper conduct when enjoying the services of an odalisque.

For her part, a woman can - through her Contract of Submission or by subsequent Pleas of Mercy - make contractual specifications regarding the men with whom her Master might share her. She can set boundaries and make specifications regarding what is suitable in a guest.
